Joseph Dore (15 Jun 1788 - 21 Mar 1867)

Joseph Dore was born on 15 June 1788 at Burghfield (pronounced Berf-field), Berkshire, England to parents John Dore and Dinah Dore (nee Day).

He lived all his life in Burghfield. He was a labourer.

On 15 October 1810, he married Elizabeth Hutchins at Burghfield, Berkshire, England.

They had 9 children:

1841 Census - Living on the common at Burghfield. Listed as an Agricultural Labourer.

1851 Census - Living on the common at Burghfield.  Listed as an Agricultural Labourer.

1861 Census - Living on the Common at Burghfield together.  They were 74. John and Henry their sons, were living next door with their families. Joseph is listed as a labourer.

Joseph Dore died of Apoplexy Paralysis on the 21 March 1867.  His funeral was at St. Mary's Church, Burghfield, Berkshire, England.
